Ground Water Protection Work Group
Welcome to DOE's Ground Water Protection Work Group Focus Area. Although the subsurface environment at DOE's sites spans a wide range of physical conditions, there are many common elements in the site-wide programs that DOE has created for protecting ground water. This focus area has been designed and will be operated primarily to provide an electronic means of sharing experiences with colleagues at DOE sites around the country and allowing DOE ground water professionals to draw upon each other's talents and experiences.
Purpose of the Web Site
This web site was designed to enhance communication within the DOE community on issues related to ground water protection at DOE sites. Work Group members are encouraged to use this web site to share information and lessons learned with other members by posting: technical or regulatory issues for comment, recent technical reports, updates on progress of site-specific projects, or success stories on new technologies. Use of this web site will enhance sharing of knowledge and foster collaboration among ground water professionals within the DOE complex.
