Pollution Prevention Best Practices Database

A central feature of DOE management systems is continuous improvement and learning lessons from past experience. In order to disseminate effective methods on how to reduce waste, the DOE Office of Environmental Policy and Assistance (HS-22) regularly evaluates pollution prevention projects from across the DOE complex, and also reviews information about projects conducted by other federal agencies.

The P2 Best Practices Database contains information about projects that may be of particular interest to the DOE P2 community. Search the database by year, type of activity or operation, or by key words. If no selections are made, all project summaries are returned.
